We are primarily an appointment-based studio, so we highly recommend scheduling your session in advance to secure your preferred time slot. This ensures that your chosen artist is available and fully prepared to meet your needs. While we do our best to accommodate walk-ins, our schedule is often booked months ahead, so we cannot guarantee availability. Walk-ins are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and we appreciate your understanding.
Tattooing can cause discomfort, and the level of pain varies depending on the person and the location of the tattoo. While numbing creams are available, we do not recommend using them. Numbing creams can cause allergic reactions or skin irritations, and they may also alter the texture of the skin, making it more difficult for the artist to inject the ink properly. For the best results, we suggest discussing any concerns about pain with your artist beforehand so they can guide you through the process.
To ensure our clients respect our artist’s time and efforts, we require a non-refundable deposit to confirm your appointment for all tattoo sessions. We require a $100 deposit for tattoos of 1-3 hours, and $200 for half and full sessions. Each session requires a separate deposit. After your tattoo is done, your deposit is deducted from your tattoo’s final price. Consultations are complimentary and do not require a deposit.
We accept cash, credit/debit cards and Interac e-transfers as forms of payment for our tattoo services. Please have valid identification when using a credit or debit card. We also offer financing services through a 3rd party financing provider. Follow the link here to learn more.
Tattoo healing can vary depending on the size and placement of the tattoo, as well as individual healing abilities. Generally, it takes 2-4 weeks for a tattoo to heal completely. Follow this link to familiarize yourself with the best aftercare practices to ensure a quick and smooth healing process.
Touch-ups may occasionally be required due to a variety of factors. Sometimes, a tattoo might fade or lose ink during the healing process due to natural body responses or the location of the tattoo. Other times, fading can occur because the client didn’t follow the proper aftercare instructions. At Heartless Ink, if a tattoo requires a touch-up after healing, and it’s clear that the fading or ink loss wasn’t due to client negligence, we will provide the touch-up free of charge. However, if we determine that the tattoo didn’t heal well due to improper aftercare by the client, the touch-up will not be complimentary. To qualify for a free touch-up, you must have purchased and used our aftercare products, followed our aftercare instructions correctly, and contacted our front desk within 2 months of the date of your appointment. We will then ask you to please come to the studio or send in a few clear, well-lit photos and/or videos of the areas to be touched up and we will assess whether a touch-up is required and get back to you to book your appointment.
